Canada Day

July 1st was Canada day, which celebrates the merging of the colonies of Canada, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia into a single dominion by the British. It was called dominion day until it was renamed in 1982 to Canada DayI made the three Canadian national dishes: Poutine, Butter Tarts, and Naniamo Bars

Plus some Canadian Bacon and Canadian beer and whiskey, whiteout which a Canadian celebration would not be complete!

Even our pet Labrador, Eli, joined in to celebrate his Canadian heritage!
